Cool Stars Out of School Club is based in Lowton and we have been providing wraparound and holiday club care for over 25 years. We offer a fun and nurturing environment where children feel safe and happy outside of the school day.
What you need:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- A love for working with children
- Bags of enthusiasm and energy
- To enjoy having fun and being creative
- Lots of patience and a caring nature
- Good sense of humour and an ability to laugh at jokes that don’t make sense!
The Role:
Every day is different in this role and we are looking for someone who can encourage and inspire children’s development, independence and their confidence through positive interactions and play. Duties will include assisting all of our children who attend, setting up and clearing away play spaces, supervising fun activities and snack time and working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures.
Working hours:
Monday - Friday (20 hours per week) 7.30am - 9.00am, 3.00pm - 5.30pm. Cool Stars is open term time and some school holidays, candidates are expected to work whenever the club is open so therefore some flexibility is required.
