The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The Public Protection Unit is made up of specialist units responsible for keeping people safe from harm and investigating offences committed against the most vulnerable. The Child Abuse Investigation Team (CAIT), Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), Indecent Images of Children (IIIOC) and Criminal Exploitation Missing & Mental Health (CEMM) teams are responsible for offences committed against children and young people and the risk related to them. The Safeguarding Adult Missing & Mental Health (SAMM) team is responsible for offences committed against vulnerable adults and the risk related to them. These teams also work alongside the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), the Integrated Offender Management (IOM) and the Management of Sex and Dangerous Offenders (MOSOVO) teams.

This role is a fixed term contract for 6 - 9 months.

The proposed interview date is W/C 9th February.

Requirements:

  • Successfully vetted at level Staff MV.
  • At least 5 years residency in the UK.
