Overview
We are looking to appoint a dedicated Food Technology Teacher on a full‑time permanent basis from September. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, developing students’ practical cooking skills, nutritional knowledge and confidence within a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging culinary and food technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan and implement practical lessons that foster skills, confidence and nutritional awareness.
- Maintain a high standard of classroom management and behaviour expectations.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion and high expectations.
Qualifications
- QTS with a Food Technology or Design Technology specialism
- Experience teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging practical lessons
- A passion for food education and student development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
