As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, personalised lessons to a small class of pupils, adapting learning to meet individual needs and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants, specialist staff and a dedicated leadership team who are committed to ensuring both pupils and staff thrive.

The Role:

  • Teaching a small class of pupils with special educational needs
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Creating a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and specialist professionals
  • Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP targets
  • Building positive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies
  • Promoting independence, confidence and achievement The Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary or secondary-aged pupils
  • A passion for inclusive education and SEND
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • The ability to adapt learning to meet a range of needs
  • A patient, creative and resilient approach
