You’ll support learners under the guidance of the Learning Support team, helping them progress and grow in confidence across a range of learning environments. You’ll keep accurate records, use ProMonitor effectively and share key information with staff, families and external partners. You’ll help learners settle into college through transition activities and use their support plans, EHCPs and profiles to guide your practice. You’ll encourage independence, explore effective learning strategies and contribute to team meetings, training and wider college events. You’ll also follow SEND guidance, safeguarding expectations and college standards to ensure every learner receives high‑quality, consistent support.
About You
- Experience supporting SEND learners, ideally in a specialist or post‑16 setting.
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/Level 2, or willingness to work towards them.
- Practical safeguarding experience in an education or support environment.
