Duties of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester

  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards
  • Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on various vehicle makes and models
  • Identify safety, reliability, and performance issues, reporting findings to the Business Owner
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality standards at all times
  • Assist at the front reception desk with customer enquiries, providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and required follow-ups
  • Support workshop operations to ensure smooth daily running
