- Provide classroom support to teachers across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Assist in preparing learning materials and setting up classroom activities
- Support pupils during independent, group, and whole-class tasks
- Help maintain positive behaviour and promote a calm, purposeful atmosphere
- Offer additional support to pupils who need extra help accessing the curriculum
- Supervise pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes, or school events as required
- Contribute to the organisation of learning environments and resources
- Support assessment by observing and feeding back on pupil engagement and progress
Requirements:
- Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Is patient, supportive, and committed to helping pupils succeed
- Works well as part of a team and communicates confidently
- Can follow teacher guidance while also using their own initiative
- Is adaptable, reliable, and able to remain calm in busy situations
- Is enthusiastic about contributing to school life and pupil wellbeing
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
