Main Duties

  • Work 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
  • Collaborate with the Cook and catering team to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently.
  • Plan and create menus, plate dishes, and arrange trollies.
  • Ensure each resident receives personalized care and support, especially during mealtimes.
  • Respect individual religious and cultural backgrounds when preparing meals.
  • Act as the link between the kitchen and the serving areas, maintaining smooth, enjoyable mealtimes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a similar environment.
  • Kitchen and food preparation experience required.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes at short notice.
  • Ability to work well under pressure without negatively impacting those around you.
