We’re looking for Interpreters to join our growing community at Dals. The role is freelance, you will be registered on a self‑employed basis and can choose your hours, travel distance, and assignments to suit your lifestyle.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Attend appointments in person to support our clients and their non‑English speaking service users.
  • Help bridge communication gaps in essential settings such as healthcare, legal, social services, and public sector applications.
  • Interpret live conversations between clients and limited English speakers.
  • Support communication in medical, legal, social services, and public sector settings.
  • Ensure accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive interpretation.
  • Use our interpreting app to manage your availability and assignments.
  • Deliver excellent service that empowers people to access vital services.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Kurdish (Kurdish Sorani) or Ukrainian.
