This is an opportunity to join a growing and well-invested business specialising in financial lines, with a strong focus on PI, cyber and D&O, where you will play a key role in expanding both the direct and wholesale broking offering across the Midlands and wider UK market, supported by a flexible hybrid working model.

Working in a relationship-led position, you will develop and manage an established broker network, reconnecting with existing and dormant accounts while generating new opportunities through targeted campaigns, networking and proactive engagement, ultimately building a profitable and sustainable income stream.

Operating within a wholesale broking environment, you will support brokers with placement strategy, technical guidance and market access, helping them navigate financial lines risks while positioning the business as a key trading partner.

The role combines desk-based activity with broker engagement, with scope for field-based relationship development as you progress. You will be responsible for managing renewals, identifying new business opportunities and growing your presence across the broker market, working closely with internal teams and insurer partners to deliver strong outcomes, with earning potential aligned to income growth through a competitive bonus and commission structure.

The business is keen to speak with individuals who have experience across financial lines, wholesale or broker environments, particularly those with exposure to PI, or strong relationship-driven professionals who can develop technically. There is also openness to candidates from adjacent sectors who can demonstrate commercial drive, credibility and the ability to build long-term client and broker relationships.

This is a collaborative and growth-focused environment that prioritises good people and long-term potential over rigid job specifications, offering flexibility around location within the West Midlands, autonomy to shape your approach and the opportunity to make a genuine impact in a buoyant and in-demand area of the market.
