About this job
Your new company Your new company is a well established global organisation, recognised for its long term stability, strong growth and commitment to continuous improvement.
Due to a number of successful acquisitions they're now looking for a Finance Manager to join the team.
Your new role As a key member of the finance team, you will support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and robust financial controls across the business.
Acting as the local technical accounting expert, you will take ownership of statutory reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, fixed asset accounting, and control improvement initiatives.
You will also partner with operational stakeholders, providing guidance on the accounting implications of capital investments and supporting business decisions within a complex manufacturing environment.
This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders within a global organisation and provides the opportunity to influence financial governance, reporting quality, and business performance.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this position, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong technical accounting expertise gained within a manufacturing or complex commercial environment.
You will have experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, applying IFRS and local GAAP standards, managing audit processes, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Strong systems skills, particularly within ERP environments such as D365 and OneStream, combined with advanced Excel capabilities, will be essential.
You'll be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of partnering with both finance and operational teams to deliver accurate reporting, strengthen financial controls, and support key business decisions.
Experience working within a global, matrix-structured organisation would be highly advantageous.
What you'll get in return In return, you'll join a global and highly respected manufacturing business offering excellent career development opportunities within a collaborative and supportive finance team.
You'll receive a competitive salary of up to Β£60,000, together with a 15% annual bonus, comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to gain exposure to a complex international environment.
This role offers the chance to develop your technical accounting expertise, work closely with senior stakeholders, and play a key role in ensuring strong financial governance and statutory compliance across the business.
