Job Purpose: The role requires a diligent resource to support the PSL site transformation team with administrative and project management activities.
About the Role: We are looking for a Finance Analyst with 1-3 years' experience to join our Port Sunlight manufacturing site on a 12‑month fixed term contract. This role is designed to provide hands‑on experience within a factory environment, supporting the site finance team with core operational finance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support analysis and reporting of production costs and factory performance
- Support volume analysis and understanding key operational cost drivers
- Assist with Fixed Asset capitalization, depreciation and tracking
- Support stock counts and stock‑related finance activities
- Help resolve urgent supplier payments and finance queries
- Support IFRS 16 lease accounting activities
- Deliver ad‑hoc analysis and reporting to support site and finance stakeholders
- Support the transformation team in projects execution especially focusing on finance activities related to spend management and savings tracking
Who We Are Looking For:
- 1-3 years' experience in a finance, cost analysis or management accounting role
- Strong analytical skills with confidence using Excel and financial data
- Practical, organized and comfortable working in a fast‑paced site environment
- Experience providing stakeholders with clear, focused, and robust financial analysis and guidance, including strategic insights, risks, and opportunities
Essential Requirements:
- SAP or other ERP system experience
- Studying/completed a finance qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Solid Excel capability and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
