To help deliver our ongoing customer focus and contribute to our growth plans, Irizar UK is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for the Midlands & the West. It's unlikely you'll have a typical day, but you can expect to be visiting customers daily, taking ownership of issues, and delivering resolutions. This will cover warranty repairs, retail jobs, and general customer support and guidance. At Irizar we pride ourselves on supporting our customers through the life of owning an Irizar; this role is key to delivering that customer promise.
Responsibilities
- Visit customers most days, diagnosing and repairing PCVs.
- Take ownership of issues and deliver resolutions for warranty repairs, retail jobs, and general support.
- Act as an Irizar ambassador, providing guidance and training to customers.
- Operate independently, managing your own schedule, and maintain contact with the team.
- Be flexible with working hours; occasional out-of-hours work, overnight stays, and travel across a large region may be required.
Qualifications
- Coaching & bus industry experience.
- Detailed technical knowledge of PCVs.
- Mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent customer skills.
- Self-starter, happy to work alone remotely from the office.
