We are looking for a motivated, caring Relief Support Worker to provide person‑centred support to 12 service users with learning disabilities and complex needs in Wythenshawe. This role offers opportunities for engaging activities, including outings to zoos, swimming sessions, and church visits, demonstrating a wide range of positive experiences for the people we support.
Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centred support to 12 service users with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Engage in daily activities such as trips to zoos, swimming sessions, and church visits.
- Work as a Creative Support Bank Staff member, picking shifts via a free app that facilitates shift planning and provides service information.
Qualifications
- Minimum of twelve months of experience working with people with learning disabilities.
- Be warm, person‑centred and able to build trusting relationships with users.
- Willingness to travel within the Greater Manchester area, with excellent public transport access.
- Have a valid UK working status and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Gender is considered to be an occupational requirement.
