Shift Pattern: A mixture of calls throughout the day spanning the morning into the evening. Flexibility is required as there can be breaks between calls. Minimum of 5 hours a day.
The Black and White Group are looking for experienced Female Care Assistants to join our growing domiciliary care team. You will support a small number of service users, including both younger and older adults, in the Gloucester area. If you are passionate about making a difference to people’s lives who need it most, we want to hear from you. Due to the nature of our clients, we can only consider applicants who are female.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and medication prompts
- Offering companionship, emotional support, and meaningful interaction
- Supporting with meal preparation and light household duties
- Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and community activities
- Encouraging independence and confidence in daily living
- Maintaining accurate and respectful care records

What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Previous experience in domiciliary, residential, or community care
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
- Good spoken and written English
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health
