About you:
Are you enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to supporting children in a way that enables their development and respects their dignity? You will need to be adaptable and flexible with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our team. Experience of challenging behaviour and/or learning disabilities is preferred but all training will be provided.
The Role:
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower children and young people to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Promote health, well-being, and ensure cultural and spiritual beliefs are met inclusively.
- Facilitate social, educational, or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping, and other recreational activities.
- General housekeeping duties including shopping, domestic duties, and possibly elements of personal care.
- Complete a range of records and documents.
- Must be able to swim and support others at swimming.
- Essential: hold a valid UK driving licence.
