If you have a passion for working within the domestic abuse sector, Fortalice are recruiting two Refuge Night Workers/Administrators who will also be the first point of contact for the residents in our Refuge, ensuring support when needed.
Job Type: Permanent
- Role 1: 2 shifts (Friday & Saturday) every 4 weeks
- Role 2: 1 shift (Tuesday) every fortnight
Night shifts are 9pm - 8:30am
Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hour.
Purpose of the role: The post is based at Lewis House, a purpose-built Refuge, comprising of 22 self-contained flats, an Outstanding OFSTED registered Children’s Services, offices, a meeting room and a communal area in which group activities can be facilitated. This facility is staffed on a 24-hour basis by Family Support Workers. This role is a working night shift and includes being the first point of contact for residents and providing administrative support to the wider team.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for working with vulnerable people
- Experience of lone working and a commitment to following lone working procedures
- Experience of reception and general office admin duties
- An ability to identify, respond and manage risk and safeguarding concerns relating to children and/or adults at risk
