We are offering a bespoke, tailor‑made package for candidates with quarrying industry experience to join our team as an experienced heavy plant fitter based in Horwich.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostics and troubleshooting of faults & breakdowns in a timely manner;
- Strip and rebuild all elements of machinery including engines, drive lines, etc.;
- Use diagnostic equipment;
- Maintain heavy plant;
- Travel to other company sites as required.
Qualifications
- Experience and ability in diagnostics and troubleshooting;
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment;
- Driving licence (Car/Cat B – HGV a bonus);
- 5 years plant‑fitting experience;
- Recent heavy‑plant experience;
- Strong knowledge of heavy plant (more important than formal qualifications).
