Established, highly regarded UK law firm seeks a proactive, organised Legal Team Assistant to join its growing Family Law division in Bristol, supporting a newly formed team and colleagues across multiple offices. Ideal for an experienced legal administrator or secretary who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent support.

You will provide full secretarial and administrative support across private family law work including divorce, financial arrangements, children matters, modern family law, mediation, arbitration, international cases, and pre‑/post‑nuptial agreements.

Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare, format and amend legal documents and court bundles
  • Manage diaries, meetings and appointments using Outlook
  • Open/close client matters and complete conflict checks
  • Support client onboarding and ongoing engagement
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
  • Process incoming/outgoing correspondence and documentation
  • Coordinate mediation enquiries and related administration
  • Update spreadsheets, databases and handle payment arrangements
  • Provide proactive support to fee earners across the wider team

  • Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail
  • Professional, positive and proactive attitude
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
