Our comprehensive services include personalised one‑on‑one support, dynamic parenting advice and groups, assistance with accessing vital statutory and community services. We also have a digital family hub available 24/7. What sets us apart is our amazing team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference. This is a home‑based role, but not a remote position. You will be required to travel extensively across the whole of North Wiltshire to meet families in their homes, schools, and community venues. As a full‑time practitioner, you will hold a caseload of around 20 families, which means travelling across a wide geographical area is a core and essential part of the role.

  • Provide one‑to‑one support that strengthens families and builds resilience.
  • Carry a manageable caseload, offering tailored interventions that create lasting impact.
  • Work in partnership with schools, health professionals, and community services to get families the right help at the right time.
  • Champion the voice of families, advocating for their needs and removing barriers to support.
  • Use your safeguarding knowledge and solution‑focused approach to keep children and young people safe and thriving.
  • Contribute to innovative Family Hub services across Wiltshire, helping to shape stronger communities.

About You

  • Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in social work, family studies, youth and community work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Bring experience of supporting children, young people and families, including case management and tailored support planning.
  • Have strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and early intervention practices.
  • Communicate with confidence and compassion, building trust with families and professionals alike.
  • Organise and prioritise a busy caseload, keeping accurate records and delivering positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, health services, and community partners to coordinate support.
  • Be adaptable, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to empowering families.
  • Able to travel independently and reliably across the North Wiltshire area to meet the demands of the role.
