We are currently recruiting for multiple Factory Operatives on behalf of our growing client in the WELSHPOOL area. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and interest in timber manufacturing.

Working Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Includes 2 x 30-minute daily breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture timber frame panels, floor cassettes, and roof cassettes to specification.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble timber components accurately.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Assist with loading/unloading materials and finished products when required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in timber frame manufacturing or a similar construction/production environment is desirable but not essential (full training provided).
  • Good practical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Strong reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of health & safety in a workshop environment.
  • All applicants must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own transport due to the site location (no public transport routes available).
