Desian Education are proud to be recruiting reliable and enthusiastic EYFS Supply Teachers to work across a variety of primary schools in Southport. Opportunities are available immediately and offer excellent flexibility, including day-to-day cover as well as short-term and long-term assignments, tailored to your availability and preferences. This role is ideal for practitioners who are passionate about early years education, enjoy variety, and thrive in different school environments.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across EYFS
  • Support children’s early learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Create and maintain a nurturing, safe, and well-managed learning environment
  • Adapt confidently to different school settings, routines, and expectations
  • Access day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply opportunities
  • Work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Southport

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant EYFS teaching qualification
  • Has a Full Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
  • Experience working within EYFS / Early Years settings
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills appropriate for early learners
  • Flexible, reliable, and professional in approach
  • Confident building positive relationships with young children, staff, and parents

Pay Rates

M1 – M6: £120 – £232 per day (Dependent on role, responsibility, and experience)
