We’re looking for a Facilities Team Leader to join our team at HMP Long Lartin, helping to keep the prison safe, clean, and running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with facilities or maintenance experience who enjoys leading a team and making a real difference in a unique working environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and supporting a team delivering maintenance and facilities services
- Making sure repairs and maintenance are completed safely and on time
- Maintaining high standards across the site
- Working closely with prison staff to plan and prioritise work
- Promoting a strong health & safety culture
- Checking timesheets and supporting day-to-day operations
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in facilities, estates, or maintenance environments
- Previous experience supervising or leading a team
- Good understanding of health & safety
- IT skills (basic systems and reporting)
- Ability to organise work and meet deadlines
Desirable (not essential):
- IOSH qualification
- Facilities Management qualification
- Experience using CAFM systems
