Responsible for harvesting mushrooms as per customer product requirements, while applying policies and procedures aimed to maximise the yield and optimise mushroom quality and achieving the performance targets as set by the company.
Responsibilities
- Harvest mushrooms as per customer specification and product quality requirements.
- Ensure that the products presented are of the highest possible standard; with particular focus given to weights, sizing, stem length, punnet identification and presentation.
- Harvest mushrooms using One Touch Picking Technique to maintain the mushroom quality.
- Harvest mushrooms in line with Harvesting Standard Operational Procedures aimed to maximize the yield and preserve mushroom quality, e.g. Cardinal Rules of Harvesting.
- Achieve the performance targets during and post probationary period as determined by the Company Training Program.
- Participate in continuous training and assessment.
- Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations.

Competencies
- Good dexterity skills.
- Previous harvesting experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
