Position Overview
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a locum Consultant ENT Surgeon (full time 10 PA) for a 12‑month contract to support the ENT department, including the Head and Neck/Airway‑Voice team.
Responsibilities
- Support the existing team and contribute to the development of ENT services.
- Participate in the on‑call rota for daytime emergencies and out‑of‑hours cover (weekends and bank holidays).
- Provide teaching and training at postgraduate specialist registrar and nursing specialist levels.
- Complement the skill mix of the Head and Neck/Airway‑Voice team.
Qualifications
- Fellowship of a Royal College of Surgeons (UK) or a recognised national equivalent.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council.
Contract Details
The role is a 12‑month contract with a provisional time plan of 10 PA, including 1.5 supporting PAs. It includes daytime on‑call (1:16 consultant‑of‑the‑week) and out‑of‑hours on‑call (0.5 DCC PAs with a 3% supplement).
