The Senior Amazon CX Engineer is a professional services role focused on the design, implementation and tier 2 support of full-stack Amazon Connect solutions. This position delivers customer experience solutions through infrastructure and application development expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build Amazon Connect environments, including infrastructure and contact flows for voice, chat and email.
- Implement and support Amazon Connect features including Step‑by‑Step Guides, Cases and Diallers.
- Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS components or external systems using AWS Lambda.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Amazon Lex and Conversational AI interfaces.
- Build custom reporting solutions using DSQL.
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Collaborate with AWS teams and partners during implementation projects.
- Deliver client‑facing training on Amazon Connect technologies.
- Provide technical guidance from design to deployment.
- Document technical designs and operational procedures.
- Travel to client sites as required to support project activities.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in technical implementation or consulting roles.
- Amazon Connect Communications Specialist or Amazon Connect Developer Specialist certification.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or working towards any AWS Associate level certification).
Additional Technical Skills
- Python, Node.js, and React programming experience.
- Infrastructure as code using CDK and Terraform.
- API design and development.
- Strong SQL skills and experience developing custom reporting or analytics solutions.
