The Public Health programmes have strong synergy with our Environmental Health and Specialist Community Public Health Nursing programmes, which are co-located within the School of Health and Social Wellbeing. The Public and Environmental Health teams also form the core membership of UWE Bristol’s Centre for Public Health and Wellbeing, which conducts interdisciplinary research and knowledge exchange with a focus on reducing inequalities.
About you
Enthusiasm and an ability to inspire learners are central to this role. Experience in contributing to both teaching and research within a Public Health context will be valuable, as will an interest in working with a diverse and professionally varied student body.
Expertise
Expertise in key areas of public health practice is essential. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching across health protection topics and bring experience in, or enthusiasm for developing expertise in, environmental hazards and associated public health challenges. An interest in international education is also welcomed, as we are looking for someone who is willing and able to join our flying faculty and deliver teaching internationally when required.
