Company Overview:

A well-established UK-based heavy engineering manufacturer in Dudley is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join its expanding engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of 4 engineers and 1 apprentice, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Oversee maintenance activities across production equipment and site services within a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Coordinate planned maintenance and manage reactive breakdown response to minimise downtime
  • Provide technical guidance on electrical and mechanical fault finding using drawings and schematics
  • Support PLC diagnostics and oversee installation, commissioning and modification of machinery and equipment

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Proven maintenance engineering experience within heavy engineering or manufacturing environments
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with PLC fault finding and diagnostics
  • Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical fault-finding capability
