The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 ÂŁ per hour.

ÂŁ12.30 per hour, 5.5 hours flexible through the week.

We invite you to join Our Space Community Hub – a vibrant service that offers day opportunities for people with learning disabilities, older people with support needs, including those living with dementia or at risk of social isolation. The Hub is being developed into the 1st floor; this is a 12‑month contract role with 5.5 hours per week.

Role: Community Hub Lead

We are looking for that special person that enjoys making a lasting impact in the community, meeting incredible people and wants to help create a space that truly matters. As this development does not receive any guaranteed funding, we are seeking to grow our volunteer team to support the project. The Community Hub Lead will be involved in attracting and supporting these volunteers and developing the Community Hub element alongside the existing services at Our Space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Community Hub element, working alongside existing ground‑floor services.
  • Attract, recruit and support volunteers for the project.
  • Network with a range of individuals and groups, including service users, professionals, community groups, colleagues and members of the public.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to improve community‑led services.
