We have vacancies for Warehouse Operatives/HGV Strappers at a distribution centre based in Ellesmere Port. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and also be physically fit as this is a very demanding role.
Responsibilities:
- Loading/unloading of cardboard and reels
- Co-operate with management and team to ensure job is complete at end of the day
- Work to timescale and deadlines
- Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned
- Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork
- Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate
- Maintain communication at all times with the Traffic Office
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, using all equipment safely as specified in operating procedures
- Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users
- Comply with safe working practices at all times
This role is ongoing. Temp to perm.
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
Rate of Pay: From Β£12.56ph
