Purchasing Administrator / Procurement Administrator Site-Based | Monday to Friday | 08:00-16:30 £23 - £27 per hour (PAYE vs Umbrella) Initial 2-3 month contract with immediate start available An urgent requirement has arisen for an experienced Purchasing and Procurement Administrator to join a busy procurement team supporting purchasing activity, supplier management and continuity of supply across the business.
This role would suit someone with experience in a purchasing, procurement or supply chain administration environment who can hit the ground running and support a fast-paced operation from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising and managing purchase orders
- Supporting the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring and resolving supply continuity issues
- Maintaining accurate purchasing records and data
- General procurement and administrative support to the purchasing team
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' experience working within a Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process
- Previous purchasing, procurement or supply chain administration experience
- Experience engaging with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain supply continuity
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
Desirable
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
- SAP experience
- Manufacturing, engineering or industrial sector experience
