We’re looking for experienced Pipe/Mechanical Fitters for day shifts working between the main Fab Shop and on site locations. Service periods: 1–2 weeks in the Fab Shop followed by 1–2 weeks on sites, or 3–4 weeks at a time.
Duties include:
- Installation and fabrication of pipework 2–4 inch and 6–12 inch carbon and stainless pipe
- Setting up pipe butts and flanges to QC specifications
- Preparing work for coded welders
- Fitting pipework, valves, and supports to engineering drawings
- Fitting pre‑fabricated pipe spools and supports
- Reading and interpreting PID and GA drawings
Qualifications:
- Level 3/Apprenticeship/ACE in Pipe Fitting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in nuclear, oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, marine & shipbuilding, heavy industrial construction
- Competency‑based interview demonstration
Benefits:
- Valid CCNSG or EMMS Card Safety Passport required
- Pay: PAYE or CIS rates +12.5 % on basic hours – £24 per day – £30 per night – £32 OT1 – £38 OT2

- Term work 6–13 weeks to start, potential long‑term 26–52 weeks; schedule 10 days on/4 days off (Tuesday to following Thursday), day and night shift options
