We work with mainstream and SEN schools, plus 7 borough councils, with growing demand in Ellesmere Port. Our vision is to provide a holistic approach to the learning needs of students who are having difficulties in the classroom or attending school.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering 1–1 sessions during the school day in settings such as schools, libraries, children’s centres, or students’ homes (full risk assessment completed if 1‑1 in the home).
- Sessions typically last 1–2 hours per student, with flexible hours to suit your available days/times – we are looking for at least 2 days/10 hrs+ per week availability for any new Tutor.
- Support young people with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or SEMH needs.
- Many students are disengaged from education and may present challenging behaviour.
- Tutors must have experience in a similar role and be extremely patient, empathetic, and confident in rebuilding engagement and rapport with students.
