Primary Care 24 (PC24) is seeking highly skilled and motivated GPs for Primary Care, Out Of Hours & Alder Hey positions.
We employ salaried and bank workers, providing flexible roles to fit around you.
Responsibilities
Out-of-hours (OOH)
- Onsite including home visits – 24/7 service.
- Triage patients over the phone and make a clinical decision about appropriate care.
- Investigate and diagnose with a care plan/management to follow.
- Medicine management and occasional urgent test management.
- Conduct home visits and face-to-face urgent care centre appointments.
- Work closely with operations and clinical staff.
Primary Care
- Onsite in GP practices.
- Carry out medical services with due care and attention, in accordance with good medical practice.
- Focus on patient needs, investigating and diagnosing with a care plan/management.
- Medicine management and occasional urgent test management.
- Integrate social prescribing into patient care.
- Collaborate with all clinical colleagues and operational teams.
- Work with clinical leads and medical director to challenge and improve the service.
- Maintain high standard clinical reports, great clinical records.
- Collaborative working with other health care professionals and providers.
Alder Hey
- Onsite assess, diagnose and provide advice, care and management to children and young people.
- Provide high quality holistic clinical care in line with current healthcare standards.
- Demonstrate clinical reasoning, critical thinking and autonomous practice.
- Collaborate with clinical leads and medical director to improve the service.
- Integrate social prescribing into patient care.
Qualifications
- Full GMC registration and licence to practice.
- Up to date Enhanced DBS Certificate (DBS Update Service).
- Understanding of clinical risk management and governance.
- Ability to take independent clinical decisions and seek further advice.
- Ability to manage own time and workload in line with SLA.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, sensitive communication.
- Competent in written and spoken English.
- Competent in IT systems including ADASTRA and EMIS.
Salary & Benefits
Salaried: £108,664 – £130,398 per annum (pro rata). Permanent with set shifts, 29 days annual leave pro rata. NHS pension, car fleet & home electronics schemes, cycle to work scheme, blue light card eligibility, colleague wellbeing package.
Bank: £76.43–£91.48 per hour. Bank agreement, NHS Pension Scheme, blue light card eligibility.
