This role requires someone who is able to work to deadlines and has the ability to use their own initiative.

  • Woodend Industrial Estate, L24 Position Details: Permanent, starting immediately Hours:
    37.5 Hours per week; Monday to Thursday - 08:30 to 17:00 Friday - 08:30 to 14:30 Starting Salary: TBC

From £25 k Forwessun supports the electronics industry worldwide and is currently looking increase its engineering team You will:

Write and debug software for the test of electronics circuit boards

Communicate with customers throughout production of their product.

Design test fixtures with support from technical department

Liaise with fixture production staff to ensure a quality product and debug application software.

Training will be provided.

Job Specification: To advise designers and manufacturers of electronic circuit boards in the most suitable test strategy for new boards To have a thorough knowledge of analog and digital electronics down to component level, to be able to read board schematics and complex datasheets To be able to design test software to verify the manufacture of electronic circuit boards using different in-circuit test platforms, including Keysight and Teradyne.

To be able to write test vectors, to both prove the functionality of complex digital circuitry and to program devices.

To be able to carry out inspection and modification of test fixture hardware To prove and debug test software against working boards, to diagnose test failures down to component level.

To visit and support manufacturers of electronic circuit boards with test integration and production start-up of new products.

To diagnose and rectify test equipment failures, down to card level.

The ideal candidate will have:

The ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines

A good understanding of Electronics
