Desian Education are proud to be supporting a number of mainstream and SEND schools across the Chester and Ellesmere Port areas with adhoc, short-term and long-term supply. Due to unprecedented demand, we are recruiting motivated and reliable educational support workers to support pupils with SEN within mainstream primary, secondary and SEND schools.
Your new role:
- 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN
- Working in collaboration with class teacher & SENCO
- Positive behaviour support
- Delivery of target interventions; speech & language, behaviours, etc
- Implementation of positive behaviour support
- Personal/intimate care requirements
What you need to succeed:
- Full “Right to Work” in the UK
- Relevant referenceable experience supporting children and young people with complex and profound needs
- An Enhanced Children’s DBS check or willingness to obtain
