Responsibilities
- Deliver educational psychology services to schools, settings and provide psychological advice to the local authority as required.
- Support the authority in fulfilling statutory duties and develop the "Expert at Hand" programme.
- Advocate for vulnerable pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, neurodiversity and early years.
- Provide a therapeutic offer for CYP and school staff, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fully qualified and HCPC registered Educational Psychologist (or in training).
- Ability to apply psychology creatively to maximise impact and contribute to council priority areas.
- Generalist with interests and experience from a range of areas.
- Interest in service development and evolving service models.
Requirements
- Subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
- Driving licence and own transport.
- No sponsorship to be offered.
