About the role
Age UK is recruiting a Sunday Shop Supervisor for our Monton store.
The role involves providing a quality retail service, managing the busy shop on Sundays, handling stock, displaying goods, maintaining shop appearance, maximising sales and promoting Gift Aid.
Key responsibilities
- Run the shop on Sundays, ensuring excellent customer experience.
- Manage stock, including receiving, storing, and replenishing items.
- Display goods attractively and keep the shop clean and welcoming.
- Promote Gift Aid to customers to increase sales and fund‑raising revenue.
- Maintain stock records and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications & experience
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Literacy and numeracy competence.
- Effective team player with flexible approach.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of stock (up to 10 kg).
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire regulations.
- Previous retail shop working or management experience is an advantage.
- Minimum age 18 years.
