We are looking for two reliable, fun and experienced Personal Assistants (PAs) to support a vibrant 20‑year‑old young man living in Eccles. Client is non‑verbal and has diagnoses of Autism, Pica, sensory processing difficulties, and displays extremely challenging behaviours. He is unaware of danger, so vigilance and calm under pressure are essential.
Responsibilities
- Support at home and out in the community
- Assist with personal care (client is incontinent)
- Prepare food and drink as needed
- Engage in fun activities such as baking, arts and crafts, and sensory play
- Take client on day trips to places like Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and nature walks
- Ensure safety and provide emotional and physical support
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with people with Autism and challenging behaviours
- Energetic and fun‑loving: must enjoy theme parks, rollercoasters and busy days out
- Confident with personal care
- Patient, resilient and understanding
- Good sense of humour and creativity
- Reliable and consistent
- Comfortable working both 1:1 and as part of a small team
- Driver with access to a vehicle (essential)
- Comfortable working in a home with a large, friendly dog
- DBS or willing to obtain one
Training
Required training includes experience with people with Autism and challenging behaviours (minimum 2 years).

Hourly rate: £12.60
