JoJo’s Day Nursery is seeking a confident, caring, and motivated Pre-School Lead Practitioner to take responsibility for our pre-school room and support our team in delivering outstanding early years education.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the pre-school room
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Plan and deliver high-quality activities in line with the EYFS
- Act as a key person and build strong relationships with children and families
- Complete observations, assessments, and learning records
- Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are consistently followed
- Take an active role within the nursery leadership team and provide support and guidance to other staff within the nursery rooms
- Lead and supervise an individual room team in providing a caring and stimulating environment to encourage learning and development
- Continue to support, guide, and motivate staff within the Preschool room
What we require
- Proven experience within a nursery or pre-school setting
- Previous room lead or senior practitioner experience is desirable
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
- A positive, professional attitude with excellent communication skills
- A team player who leads by example
