We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work at our care home in Gloucestershire (Henlow Court). The position is 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate, mentor, and develop a team of care staff ensuring residents' clinical needs are met.
- Assist residents with personal care in line with their care plans.
- Liaise with care home management, families, social workers, medical professionals and residents to ensure appropriate care provision and make recommendations for changes in care needs.
- Administer and record medication safely, following company policy.
- Monitor resident nutrition and hydration and update nutrition plans with any revised dietary requirements.
- Monitor residents for risks such as pressure wounds and abnormalities in toilet output.
- Participate in and promote resident activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience on your UK right to work.
- Valid, in-date NMC PIN held without restrictions to practice.
- Evidence of recent clinical CPD.
- Experience working in a care home setting is preferable.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and alternate weekends.
