Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated professional to support our kitchen team at Agincare, delivering healthy, balanced meals for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Support the chef in preparing meals and snacks, understanding diverse dietary needs and allergens.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen environment in line with COSHH and health & safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and independently when required, self‑managing time effectively.
  • Provide a supportive and engaging experience for residents.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • At least 12 months right to work in the UK.
  • Previous kitchen or catering experience a must, or similar role in a different catering environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and COSHH.
  • Enthusiastic, caring, and self‑motivated with strong empathy towards residents.

Employment Details

  • Part‑time contract of 18 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
  • Primary shift 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm, with flexible scheduling as required.
  • Hourly rate: £12.91.
