This twilight role is ideal for an RVN seeking variety, responsibility, and meaningful involvement in advanced nursing care. Working in a busy hospital environment, the successful nurse will play a vital role in supporting both first opinion and referral level cases, including emergency and critical care. Nurses here are hands on, highly respected members of the clinical team, actively involved in complex procedures and encouraged to develop specialist interests within advanced veterinary nursing.
The hospital is equipped to an exceptional standard, offering a truly inspiring clinical environment. Facilities include a CT scanner, referral level ultrasound with a dedicated scanning suite, a comprehensive NHS level laboratory, high spec endoscopy, ICU incubators, piped oxygen throughout, and a dedicated dental X-ray unit. The kennels and cattery feature underfloor heating, and the practice proudly holds Gold Cat Friendly status alongside three Silver ISFM accredited branches, ensuring outstanding patient comfort and care.
You’ll be working alongside an experienced, collaborative clinical team that includes certificate holders in cardiology, medicine, surgery, dermatology, and both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
