The Best Connection Dudley are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our manufacturing client in Dudley.
Role Overview: You will be operating CNC lathes within a busy foundry environment, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating CNC lathes safely and efficiently
- Completing offsets to maintain product accuracy
- Carrying out tip and tool changes
- Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met
- Following production schedules and workplace procedures
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Shift Pattern and Pay
Shift Pattern: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Friday
40 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.50 - £15.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC lathes
- Ability to complete offsets independently
- Experience carrying out tip/tool changes
- Previous manufacturing, engineering or foundry experience
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
