Credit Controller – Dudley Office
Rentokil Initial is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our dedicated team in the Dudley office.
Position Summary
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for maximising debt collection, reducing debtor days in line with company targets, and supporting the Prelitigation Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Debt management and collection of customer accounts, aiming for resolution and feedback to the customer and business.
- Responsibility for your section of the ledger.
- Achieving agreed collection targets.
- Providing reports on account performance.
- Controlling and monitoring daily debt, monitoring cash allocation and proposing corrective action on allocated accounts where needed.
- Escalating serious issues to the Team Leader or Credit Manager.
- Providing excellent customer service and confident communication.
- Resolving all business queries within agreed timeframes.
- Ad hoc administration duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a collections environment.
- ICM qualification would be advantageous.
- Ability to initiate and facilitate continuous improvements.
- Ability to work to strict timeframes and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office and Pivot tables.
- Understanding of audit controls.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Good organisational skills.
