Credit Controller – Dudley Office

Rentokil Initial is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our dedicated team in the Dudley office.

Position Summary

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for maximising debt collection, reducing debtor days in line with company targets, and supporting the Prelitigation Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debt management and collection of customer accounts, aiming for resolution and feedback to the customer and business.
  • Responsibility for your section of the ledger.
  • Achieving agreed collection targets.
  • Providing reports on account performance.
  • Controlling and monitoring daily debt, monitoring cash allocation and proposing corrective action on allocated accounts where needed.
  • Escalating serious issues to the Team Leader or Credit Manager.
  • Providing excellent customer service and confident communication.
  • Resolving all business queries within agreed timeframes.
  • Ad hoc administration duties.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a collections environment.
  • ICM qualification would be advantageous.
  • Ability to initiate and facilitate continuous improvements.
  • Ability to work to strict timeframes and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office and Pivot tables.
  • Understanding of audit controls.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
