The Laurels in Draycott, Cheddar, Somerset is part of The Country Court Family. The care home has 21 beds and is situated in a peaceful village at the foot of the Mendips Hills.

Hours: Nights, 22 hours per week, working weekends on rota (1900-0700). Care home environment focused on personal, compassionate care. The team is led by the Manager, and residents are known personally to ensure they feel at home. We’re looking for extraordinary people to join our team to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities
  • Aid residents’ emotional well-being and social needs
  • Administer and monitor medications for residents
  • Support residents at meal times
  • Mentor and assist new employees
  • Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents’ specific needs
  • Plan, allocate and supervise the work of the team of care assistants

About you
  • Proactive, passionate, and ambitious to create the best person-centred environment for residents

  • Experience as a Senior Care Assistant and leading a team
