Fulfil the role of Personal Tutor to students.

Teaching and Learning Teach Drama and English at Key stage 3 and 4 Monitor data and identify emerging needs from student data Consistently deliver well-planned lessons that achieve high outcomes Liaise with students, staff and parents as required to ensure high standards As a form tutor, support the personal development of pupils Manage behaviour effectively of children within classrooms and around the school Understand and fulfil the requirements of school policies Support the departmental pupil premium and more able strategies Support in transition from Key stage 2 and post 16 options Main Activities and Responsibilities Main duties and responsibilities are indicated here.

Attend subject and staff meetings.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed drama teacher to join the English and Communication faculty which consists of English, drama and film studies.

The Drama department is highly-successful and strives to make the subject interesting and relevant for all our pupils.

The faculty currently consists of both full and part-time experienced specialist teaching staff.

At present Year 7 and 8 are taught in mixed ability groups and start their GCSE courses in Year
