Hours: 15 hours per week

Shifts: 2 days per week, 8am–4pm (including some weekends)

Your Role as a Domestic Assistant

As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital part in maintaining the comfort and cleanliness of our home, ensuring residents enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. Duties include:

  • Ensuring all areas of the home are cleaned to a high standard, including residents' rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms.
  • Following cleaning schedules to ensure the home complies with infection control protocols and health and safety regulations.
  • Managing laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of residents' clothing and linens.
  • Restocking cleaning and laundry supplies and reporting any shortages.
  • Assisting with deep cleaning tasks when required, such as after maintenance or during routine sanitation cycles.
  • Supporting a positive and respectful environment, interacting warmly with residents, their families, and the wider team.
