The practice cares for small pets, exotics, farm animals and equines, offering a varied and rewarding caseload. Right from your shift’s end you could be on a stunning beach within 15–20 minutes, or out exploring mountain trails on the slopes of a dramatic peak that rises above the town, ideal for unwinding or recharging outside work. The practice has been serving the local community for more than a century and remains proudly independent, with a loyal client base spanning generations. You’ll be joining a well‑established team: multiple veterinarians working across species, supported by a dedicated nursing staff.

The Role — What you’ll be doing: As an RVN, you will handle general nursing duties, nurse clinical, anaesthesia and patient care. There is an in‑house ultrasound, digital x‑rays, a full lab, and equipment that supports advanced diagnostics and really broadens your clinical experience.

Flexible Rota — Work the Way You Want: The practice offers both full‑time and part‑time patterns, to suit different lifestyles:

  • Full‑time: 5 days per week, with 1 weeknight on‑call and 1 weekend in 4.
  • Part‑time: 3 days per week, with 1 weeknight on‑call and 1 weekend in 4.
  • Rotating shifts during the day: e.g. 08:00–16:00, 09:00–17:00, 10:30–18:30.
  • Time‑off in lieu after each worked weekend.
