Hours: An average of 5 hours weekly though we are happy to be flexible to allow support for a longer period less regularly (e.g. fortnightly). We would also consider employing someone to support during school holidays only.
Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour.
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support our eight-year-old daughter who lives with us and her siblings in Rhyl. Our daughter is happy, bright, and energetic. She has a diagnosis of ASD, is non-verbal and has a developmental disorder. Our daughter would love the support of a Personal Assistant to access her local community. She loves music, singing and colouring. She also enjoys swimming and playing in the park.
We are looking for a Personal Assistant who is equally fun-loving and energetic and will ideally have some flexibility around the hours that they can be available. We will work together to ensure that our daughter enjoys the opportunity to explore whilst remaining safe. We look forward to building a rapport with our Personal Assistant and will be happy for them to become involved with the planning of activities and experiences with our daughter both on a one-to-one basis and alongside the family.
